Job Overview

Sage Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our hotel, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are in good working order and that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee the maintenance of all hotel facilities and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to and handle emergency situations, including fire alarms, bomb threats, and power failures.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and that potential issues are identified and addressed before they become major problems.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, employees, and contractors to ensure that all maintenance needs are met and that guests receive exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 75lbs, crawl into small spaces, and climb ladders.
