We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Employee Owned Holdings, Inc. in Tampa, Miami, Spokane, Seattle, and Portland. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate handling of customer transactions within established timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and respond to customer calls for sales and service, including placing and changing orders, quotations, order expediting and/or status, technical information, product availability, complaints, returns/repairs, and credit issues.
  • Manage customer MRP reports and enter all orders and quotes into the system within 8 business hours.
  • Return all calls (including voicemail) within 8 business hours and follow-through on all inquiries, providing specific feedback to customers on all issues within 8 business hours, if not resolved at point of contact.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments, including Purchasing, Accounting & Finance, Warehouse and Shops, and Outside Sales.
  • Support and participate in the organization's continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary education.
  • Technically proficient with ERP programs and proficient with PC hardware/software applications and manufacturer's application software.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment a plus.
  • Strong product and pricing skills, sound problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, and good communication skills.
