Position Overview:
The Plant Operations Technician plays a crucial role in managing and executing various operational tasks within a refinery setting. This position involves monitoring and regulating refining and processing machinery to guarantee safe, efficient, and dependable operations.

Compensation:
Union Wage - $37.32/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and oversee refinery equipment and processes in accordance with established protocols and safety measures.
- Conduct routine maintenance on refinery machinery and address any issues that arise.
- Monitor and uphold process parameters, including temperature, pressure, flow rates, and chemical concentrations, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Regulate refinery emissions to comply with environmental standards.
- Collaborate with plant personnel and management to coordinate activities for safe and efficient operations.
- Complete essential documentation, including operational logs, maintenance records, and safety reports.
- Engage in training and development initiatives to enhance skills.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of experience in an industrial environment preferred
- Forklift operation experience
- Mechanical aptitude is advantageous
- Ability to follow instructions and take initiative
- Adaptability to changing priorities
- Capability to multitask and work effectively in a team
- Punctuality and reliability
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, reach, stoop, and stand for extended periods
