Position Overview:
This role involves the maintenance and repair of construction machinery and mechanical equipment. The technician will work with various types of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Equipment Technician, your duties will include:

  • Operating and inspecting machinery to identify issues.
  • Dismantling equipment to access and replace defective components using hand tools and hoists.
  • Assessing parts for wear and tear to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Adjusting and installing functional parts and control instruments.
  • Lubricating and cleaning machinery components.
  • Conducting performance tests on equipment post-repair.
  • Welding and repairing structural components as necessary.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • The ability to read and understand technical instructions and documentation.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and maneuvering equipment.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent sitting, climbing, and the use of hands for various tasks. Occasional standing, walking, and bending may also be necessary. Candidates should be able to lift and move items weighing up to 30 lbs.
