Heavy Equipment Operator - Key Responsibilities

At Vulcan Materials Company, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Heavy Equipment Safely: Ensure the safe operation of heavy equipment, adhering to MSHA and company standards.
  • Transport Materials: Safely transport materials throughout the facility, maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and assist in minor maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Monitor Processes: Report any necessary maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Best Practices: General principles and practices of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment are preferred.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and in all weather conditions is required.
