Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist is responsible for conducting regular maintenance tasks on various machinery, diagnosing intricate issues, and analyzing relevant data to formulate and assess options for effective solutions, primarily focusing on Cranes and other Heavy Equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
∙ Bring personal tools with an updated inventory
∙ Conduct scheduled maintenance on Cranes, Forklifts, and assorted equipment
∙ Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed, ensuring proper filing of records
∙ Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment using hoists, cranes, truck lifts, hand tools, and power tools
∙ Exhibit a strong work ethic and dedication to quality
∙ Work independently with minimal supervision
∙ Lift up to 40 pounds as required
∙ Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is advantageous
∙ Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
∙ Communicate safety concerns effectively to customers and colleagues during job tasks
∙ Report to Supervisor or Lead Mechanic upon completion of assigned tasks for further instructions
∙ Perform additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS
∙ High School Diploma or equivalent
∙ Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician with proven ability to inspect Cranes for defects
∙ Proficient in CANBUS, PAT, ECOS, and LICCON Systems
∙ Ability to read and comprehend operating Parts Manuals and Technical Drawings
∙ Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment post-repair to ensure compliance with OEM specifications
∙ Capable of completing tasks independently without direct oversight
∙ Adhere to all safety protocols while maintaining equipment
∙ Accurately manage reports, timesheets, work orders, and expense reports
∙ Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary
∙ Possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
