We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Technician to join our team at USG. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for performing repair and preventative maintenance of all equipment in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, working with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and implement solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with established quality standards and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, maintenance staff, and other departments to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
- Technical Skills: Prior experience with Trumpf, Accupress, and other metal forming equipment is strongly preferred. Basic understanding of electrical systems, electronics, sensors, and industrial mechanical systems is also required.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and equipment manufacturers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex equipment issues and develop effective solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Strong desire and ability to learn all aspects of equipment operation, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
