We are currently seeking a qualified Lead Maintenance Specialist to enhance the operations of a prominent entity in the manufacturing sector. This role involves overseeing the maintenance of metal fabrication facilities. The ideal candidate will apply their technical expertise across various disciplines, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems, to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance of fabrication, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems
- Develop and implement maintenance protocols and procedures
- Enhance cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Address and resolve concerns from customers and employees regarding facility issues
- Facilitate timely repairs to support organizational objectives
- Conduct inspections and repairs of buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure quality and stability
- Formulate and manage maintenance budget plans
- Perform various tasks including parts replacement, cleaning, landscaping, and more
- Maintain departmental inventory records
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5-10 years of experience in maintenance mechanics, focusing on repair and upkeep of manufacturing equipment
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work independently
- Strong background in electrical systems and proficiency in electrical wiring
- Capability to repair mechanical equipment in the Fabrication Department and conduct preventive maintenance
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage stressful situations
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
