About the Role:
The Partnerships and Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission by fostering relationships with educational institutions and community organizations. This position is responsible for managing partnerships that enhance educational outcomes and promote research-based practices within the higher education landscape. The incumbent will engage with various stakeholders to identify community needs and facilitate connections to organizational resources, including research initiatives and student involvement. A significant aspect of this role involves overseeing programs that mobilize students to provide impactful support in educational settings. The Manager will align these initiatives with current educational research, ensuring continuous improvement and effective monitoring of program success.
Key Responsibilities:
In alignment with the organization's strategic goals, the Partnerships and Engagement Manager will:
- Develop and maintain sustainable partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations.
- Coordinate collaborative projects that drive educational impact and foster reciprocal relationships.
- Manage programs that connect students with community needs, ensuring alignment with best practices in education.
- Engage in ongoing evaluation and improvement of partnership initiatives to maximize effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support broader organizational objectives and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Education, Public Administration, or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management.
- Experience in K12 or higher education settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with relationship management software is advantageous.
Competencies:
- Ability to manage projects from conception to completion, balancing input from various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement and understanding of ethical engagement principles.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient in relevant software applications and tools.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse community.
