Job Summary

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Connecticut. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draw quality blood samples from patients, ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Prepare specimens for lab testing, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
  • Explain procedures to patients clearly and compassionately.
  • Ensure the timely completion of daily activities in various settings, including Patient Service Centers and mobile environments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Patient Service Center (PSC) or in-office phlebotomy environment preferred.
