Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Bayone. As a Patient Services Representative I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services. Your primary responsibility will be to collect quality blood samples from patients, preparing them for lab testing while adhering to established procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect blood samples from patients with skill, safety, and accuracy
Prepare specimens for lab testing, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
Collaborate with area supervisors to ensure daily activities are completed accurately and on time
Maintain a safe and professional environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred
Minimum 6 months of experience; one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
