As an Automotive Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and readiness of our vehicle inventory. Your responsibilities will include:
- Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards by ensuring vehicles are thoroughly washed and interiors are cleaned and prepared.
- Vehicle Transportation: Shuttle vehicles to and from various locations, including customer sites and fleet areas.
- Pre-Delivery Inspection: Facilitate vehicles through the inspection process, which includes cosmetic evaluations, dynamic test drives, and utilizing tools such as compressed air and torque wrenches.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate competence with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and internal platforms.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections for delivery-ready vehicles and communicate any defects to the service department.
- Inventory Management: Maintain the vehicle lot, ensuring safe and accessible drive lanes.
- Trade-In Preparation: Prepare, inspect, and stage customer trade-ins for transport to auction.
- Additional Tasks: Complete other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations, logistics, or lot management; experience in automotive or detailing is preferred.
- Experience in the service industry with work order documentation is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence is mandatory.
- No drug or alcohol-related driving incidents in the past 3 years; limited serious moving violations.
- Subject to ongoing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring.
- Willingness to work during holidays, nights, and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to work in various conditions, including active service centers and unpredictable weather.
- Physical exertion may be required, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent use of hands for tasks such as tool operation, data entry, and communication.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Able to read and interpret documents such as regulations and maintenance instructions.
Compensation: $25.75 per hour
