Position Summary

The Senior Technician position requires a skilled and experienced professional to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems, including drivability and electrical systems. This role also involves leading a team of technicians and mentoring them to improve customer satisfaction and care.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical individuals, including customers and teammates.
  • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Assist fellow technicians and mechanics in performing technical activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a vocational-technical school program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessment.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required.
  • Current Federal, State, and Local certification/license where applicable.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.
