We are looking for a talented Photographer to shoot assigned news and sports stories in a creative, clear, and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lighting and audio, and be able to edit daily content under deadline using non-linear editing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shoot news and sports stories in a creative, clear, and accurate manner
  • Set up lighting and audio as needed
  • Edit daily content under deadline using non-linear editing systems
  • Enterprise content, including pitching, producing, shooting, writing, and editing
  • Operate ENG news vans and drive station vehicles to assignments
  • Maintain assigned equipment in good working order
  • Uphold journalistic, ethical, and professional standards
Requirements:
  • Operating proficiency in Sony XDCAM, Panasonic P-2, or similar ENG Systems
  • Non-linear editing skills on Edius, FCP X, Avid, or similar systems
  • 1-2 years' experience in video content creation
  • Valid MN driver's license
  • Ability to carry and shoot with a broadcast ENG camera (25 lbs. or more)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two to five years of experience as a photojournalist in a medium to major market
  • Two-to-four-year degree
  • NPPA style shooting experience
  • FAA Part 107 license and drone flight experience
