As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects as assigned./ph2Key Responsibilities/h2ullibLeadership and Development:/b Lead and develop Team Members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles./lilibStore Operations:/b Assist the Team Leader in analyzing sales, reports, and labor, and work together to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets./lilibMerchandising and Visuals:/b Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging shopping experience for customers./lilibVendor Relationships:/b Maintain good vendor relationships, develop new vendor relations, and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing./lilibCustomer Service:/b Foster a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale, and maintain awareness of customer flows and needs./lilibPerformance Management:/b Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations, and consistently communicate and model WFM vision and goals./li/ulh2Requirements/h2ulli18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience/liliHigh energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy/liliExcellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills/liliCapable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner/liliProduct knowledge and advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures/liliProficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory/liliDemonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate/liliProficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications/li/ulh2Working Conditions/h2ulliMust be able to lift 50 pounds/liliIn an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours/liliHand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling/liliWork requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching/liliExposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals/liliExposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit/liliAbility to work in a wet and cold environment/liliAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed/liliAbility to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery/li/ulpbNote:/b The purpose of this document is to provide a general summary of essential responsibilities for the position and is not meant as an exhaustive list.
