Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming customer inquiries and provide assistance regarding benefits, eligibility, billing, authorizations for treatment, explanations of benefits, and claims
Resolve customer concerns during the initial contact and navigate complex systems to deliver accurate information
Establish strong connections with members and providers by offering clear information and addressing questions positively
Record necessary information in databases and investigate complex issues across various platforms
Achieve performance targets in efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, and attendance
Essential Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role utilizing phones and computers as primary tools
Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
Capability to successfully complete Customer Service training programs
Must be at least 18 years old
Availability to work full-time, Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm CST, including occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in healthcare
Experience in a call center environment
