Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Honsador Lumber. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck to deliver materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a truck to transport goods to destinations in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Deliver and off-load materials, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of truck maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to receive delivery instructions and updates.
  • Perform routine inspections of truck equipment and supplies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Clean and maintain the interior of the truck to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires and installing light bulbs.
  • Secure cargo during transit using blocks and ropes.
Requirements
  • Hawaii CDL Class B Drivers License
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Previous CDL B driving experience and a driving abstract.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The incumbent will be required to sit, walk, and talk or hear regularly, and stand and reach with arms and hands frequently. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Compensation

This is an hourly wage position with opportunities for overtime pay.
