Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigerated Truck Driver to join our team at Honsador Lumber. As a Refrigerated Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting refrigerated goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a refrigerated truck to designated delivery locations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Deliver and off-load refrigerated materials, adhering to company procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate truck logs, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Communicate with supervisors via phone or radio to receive delivery instructions and updates.
  • Conduct daily inspections of truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Clean the interior of the truck to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
  • Secure cargo during transit by positioning blocks and tying rope around items.
Requirements
  • Hawaii CDL Class B Drivers License
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Previous CDL B driving experience and a driving abstract
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and potential fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is moderate, and occasional exposure to harsh outside weather conditions may be required.
