Job Title: Orthopedic Nurse - Nights - 48hr GWW (Optional)

Unit Overview:
The Orthopedics unit at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is a fast-paced 32-bed department that requires a skilled and dedicated nurse to join our team. As an Orthopedic Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adults, geriatric patients, and outpatients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized patient care to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements:
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice
• 2 years of experience in Orthopedic nursing
• Ability to work nights and float to other Med/Surg areas as needed
• BLS/BCLS certification
• Proficiency in Meditech EMR system

Preferred Qualifications:
• PICC/Central Line Management experience
• Traction, CPM, Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound Vac experience
• Remote Tele, Tele Interpretation experience
• CPAP/BiPAP experience

Working Conditions:
• Must be willing to float to other Med/Surg areas as needed
• May be required to work holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds
