About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Volt. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $25-$27 per hour, and we are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and processing incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payment runs, and maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions. They will also be involved in reconciling vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies, and assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process payments in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and several years of experience in accounts payable and general accounting. You should be proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise or similar accounting software and have strong organizational skills, discipline, and leadership abilities.
