Role Summary
The Operations Specialist is tasked with delivering support, guidance, and oversight from a wellness standpoint across communities to maintain the continuity of operational standards until a suitable replacement is found. This role also includes conducting audits and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with established standards.
Qualifications Required
- Degree in healthcare or a related discipline.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Experience in Senior Living or Independent Living environments.
- A minimum of three years in a management role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of mastering company-specific software.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Wellness Director or Administrator during vacancies
- Conduct assessments and develop service plans for residents.
- Oversee resident care to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Process physician orders using eMAR in collaboration with pharmacy services.
- Ensure the development and execution of resident ADL schedules during vacancies.
- Work with Human Resources to address employee performance issues.
- Facilitate training and development for care team members.
- Coordinate with the home office to ensure seamless transitions for community team members.
- Foster a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and effective communication.
- Conduct monthly audits to verify compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist wellness leaders with ongoing training initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
