Job Summary

Thompson & Lichtner Co Inc The seeks a skilled Building Enclosure Specialist to perform specialized building enclosure services on large-scale buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction engineering, building inspection services, or building enclosure services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform weatherproofing tests and inspection services
  • Conduct forensic services, window, curtain wall, storefront, and door testing
  • Interpret and record findings, process reports, and interface with clients
  • Collaborate with the Director of Building Enclosure Services to assign duties and ensure project success
Requirements
  • Preferred education: Civil Engineering degree; minimum education: Associates degree
  • Minimum: 3 years of experience in construction engineering, building inspection services, or building enclosure services
  • Ability to compose professional reports in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving, organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Clean record from pre-employment background check (CORI)
  • Reliable vehicle, valid Drivers License, and clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests
  • Physical abilities necessary: Ability to sit, stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
Working Conditions

The Building Enclosure Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, often in rugged conditions, and may be required to work from heights. The ideal candidate will be willing to comply with safety procedures and wear attire appropriate for performing assigned duties safely.
