Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist 2 to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Marion County. As a member of our team, you will provide mental health therapy to individuals diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses (SPMI) in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy services to individuals using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPI).
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide case management services to individuals and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with other providers on the ACT team, including therapists, skills trainers, case managers, peer support specialists, prescribers, and supported employment and education specialists.
  • Provide crisis assessment and intervention services, including development of safety/crisis plans and suicide and self-harm risk assessments with supervisor oversight.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to provide coverage to individuals in crisis and to provide consultation and coordination with other agencies and providers.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or a behavioral science field.
  • One year of postgraduate degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • LCSW, CSWA, or eligible for LCSW licensure.
