About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist 2 to join our Crisis and Diversion Team at Marion County. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and treatment services, crisis intervention, and community outreach to individuals and families with complex needs and diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post-Commitment Monitoring: Monitor individuals under civil commitment, determine necessity for trial visits, and complete court and state documents.
  • Community Engagement: Perform post-commitment and BRES services in various locations, including hospitals, correctional environments, and community organizations.
  • BRES Intake and Case Management: Screen referrals, provide intake evaluations, set service goals, and connect clients with community services.
  • Group Facilitation: Provide weekly mental health groups to participants of Lotus House.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience: One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensure: Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors or the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LCSW or CSWA licensure.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and in crisis intervention.
