The University of Minnesota's Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is on the lookout for a Board Certified / Board Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join our Academic Track faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
This role encompasses:
- 0.80 clinical FTE dedicated to outpatient psychiatric services, including supervision of residents and medical students, along with direct patient care. A significant portion of this role will be based at the Community University Health Care Center (CUHCC) for 0.6 FTE, with additional responsibilities as an inpatient clinical attending for the academic adult units at the University of Minnesota Medical Center for 0.2 FTE.
- 0.20 academic FTE aimed at furthering the missions of the University and medical school.
- Deliver professional psychiatric services to adult patients at the University of Minnesota's teaching facilities.
- Collaborate with the outpatient team and clinical leadership to implement evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Engage with leadership to fulfill the clinical, educational, and research missions of the department.
- Partner with administrative leaders to ensure the continuous enhancement of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Exemplify leadership qualities and foster a positive work environment that prioritizes excellence, teamwork, and exceeding patient and family expectations.
- The specific roles and FTE allocation will be tailored based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
