Job Overview

The JD Edwards E1 Technical Analyst will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and support of JD Edwards solutions. This position focuses on integrating technology into business processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical and functional background, enabling them to address complex business challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the JDE E1 9.2 development toolset and BI Publisher for design and development tasks.
  • Implement JDE solutions leveraging JDE E1 Orchestrator, groovy scripts, Java, and UDOs.
  • Develop Watchlists, One View Reporting, Cafe1, Composed Pages, Advanced Queries, and Form Extensions.
  • Write and troubleshoot JDE NER business functions.
  • Integrate JDE with various third-party systems, demonstrating expertise in this area.
  • Possess functional knowledge in modules such as Inventory Management, Shop Floor Management, Demand Planning, and more.
  • Analyze, design, and create interactive applications, batch applications, and data conversions within JDE.
  • Employ debugging tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain communication with JDE Oracle support for issue resolution.
  • Draft technical and functional specifications as needed.
  • Prepare and evaluate Test Scripts and test cases.
  • Create versions, set processing options, and advance E1 pages to production.
  • Work proficiently with databases, SQL, and data management tasks.
  • Contribute to digital transformation, upgrade, migration, and integration initiatives.
  • Assist in resolving day-to-day business/system/user issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to devise solutions for business challenges.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
  • Foster positive communication with cross-functional departments.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and take on various roles in team projects.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while remaining agile to business changes.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration among peers.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Preferred: JDE Certified Developers and/or functional certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in JDE E1 9.2 techno-functional solutions, integrations, support, and implementation.
  • Required: Techno-functional development experience in Finance, Distribution, EDI, and/or Manufacturing modules.
