Job Overview

The JD Edwards E1 Technical Analyst will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and support of JD Edwards solutions. This position focuses on integrating technology into business processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the JDE E1 9.2 development toolset and BI Publisher for design and development tasks.
  • Develop JDE solutions leveraging JDE E1 Orchestrator, groovy scripts, Java, and UDOs.
  • Create various reporting and application features, including Watchlists, One View Reporting, Cafe1, Composed Pages, Advanced Queries, and Form Extensions.
  • Write and troubleshoot JDE NER business functions effectively.
  • Expertly integrate JDE with third-party systems.
  • Possess functional knowledge in modules such as Inventory Management, Shop Floor Management, Demand Planning, and others.
  • Analyze, design, and develop JDE interactive and batch applications, along with data conversion processes.
  • Employ debugging tools to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain communication with JDE Oracle support for issue resolution.
  • Draft technical and functional specifications as needed.
  • Prepare and evaluate test scripts and cases for quality assurance.
  • Manage version control, processing options, and E1 pages to ensure smooth production transitions.
  • Work with databases, perform data analysis, and manage SQL data extracts and uploads.
  • Participate in digital transformation, upgrade, migration, and integration initiatives.
  • Assist in resolving daily business and system user issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to devise solutions for business challenges.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to foster effective communication.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and roles within team projects.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adapt to changes in business requirements with agility.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications in JDE development or functional areas.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in JDE E1 9.2 techno-functional solutions, including integrations and implementations.
  • Experience in techno-functional development across Finance, Distribution, EDI, or Manufacturing modules is essential.
