Your role and responsibilities

In this engaging position, you will be at the forefront of innovation, offering advanced technical and business process/data insights to enhance both ongoing operations and pioneering software development. Each day will present new challenges as you utilize your extensive knowledge of systems, procedures, and emerging technologies. You will serve as the authority, guiding the development process and ensuring the final product meets the highest standards. • Requirement gathering: Collaborate with HR stakeholders to comprehend their processes, needs, and objectives.
• Data Migration: Oversee the transition of data from legacy systems to Workday.
• Testing: Work with the Testing team to create test scenarios, scripts, and conduct functional SIT testing to validate system functionality against business requirements.
• Implement and support SAP & Workday solutions (Recruitment, Employee Central, Learning & Development, Payroll, Performance Management, Incentives, etc.) to enhance business functionality and performance.
• Provide technical and functional design, documentation, and training for multiple integrated systems through SAP or Workday modules.
• Lead workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into system requirements, identifying gaps, issues, and alternative solutions.
• Offer technical guidance on end-to-end integration solutions within the HR landscape.

Qualifications for the role
  • 10+ years of relevant information technology experience with 7+ years in HR.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM.
  • Proven expertise in designing, configuring, and testing SAP Schemas, Employee Central, and/or Payroll modules.
  • Demonstrated experience with production incident management processes.
  • Strong business acumen and process design capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying complex/technical project information to a diverse business audience.
  • Proven experience collaborating with remote teams.
  • Experience integrating SAP with other corporate systems is a valuable asset.
  • Familiarity with SAP HCM and Workday HCM systems.
  • Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
