Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive senior account acquisition and revenue growth within our Division footprint. This key role will focus on identifying, pursuing, and securing high-potential new business opportunities, as well as developing strategic relationships with decision-makers.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of opening and managing large-scale accounts. They will be responsible for developing and executing tailored business plans to meet organizational targets and quotas, while maintaining a deep understanding of market trends and competitor activity.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sound business plans to capture and penetrate market share within the Division's footprint
- Pursue and secure high-potential new business opportunities, leveraging industry contacts and relationships to achieve sales targets
- Maintain a pipeline of emerging high-potential clients and ensure seamless handovers to Territory Managers
- Research and analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activity to inform business development strategies
- Collaborate with Category and Segment Specialists to create compelling offerings for prospective accounts
- Complete new customer credit application forms and facilitate effective onboarding processes
- Utilize company IT tools to identify high-potential opportunities and update progress
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of opening and managing large-scale accounts
- Exceptional sales and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships and negotiate deals
- Highly motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for driving business growth and revenue expansion
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
This role offers an estimated annual salary range of $95,000 to $145,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, this position will also receive an annual incentive plan bonus. Other benefits may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
