Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Chemical and Dish Machine Service Technician who will deliver exceptional service while adhering to our core values of respect, safety, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage a designated service area, ensuring high-quality support for customer accounts.
  • Install and service chemical dispensing units in various establishments including restaurants, laundries, grocery stores, and healthcare facilities.
  • Install and maintain dishwashing machines, ranging from under-counter models to conveyor systems, in diverse settings.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance checks to ensure all equipment operates efficiently.
  • Address and resolve urgent service requests during standard business hours, and be available for after-hours support when on call.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, suppliers, and team members.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate effective time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Be a professional, adaptable, and positive contributor to the team.
  • Showcase outstanding interpersonal skills and a commitment to integrity and responsiveness.
Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in warewashing, laundry, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and email communication.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to adhere to varying safety protocols across different sites.
  • Capability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • A desire to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for overtime and on-call duties.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
  • Completion of a DOT physical examination every two years is mandatory.
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions.
