Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate DSP to join our team, providing support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community-based setting. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and service providers to develop and implement individualized action plans
  • Provide personalized support services to individuals in their homes and communities, promoting independence and community participation
  • Conduct weekly home visits and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a supportive work environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the abilities and knowledge for successful performance will be considered
  • A valid New York State driver's license and reliable vehicle for transporting service recipients
  • The ability to lift up to 35 pounds and meet LAI Vehicle Operator Requirements
Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Estimated salary: $50,000 per year.
