Intellectual Disability Support Worker

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Intellectual Disability Support Worker to join our team at Catholic Charities Family Community Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and guidance to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities who choose to self-direct their services.
About the Role
In this role, you will assist individuals with daily needs, promote independence, and enable them to function at their highest possible level. You will work closely with our team to implement individualized plans and ensure high-quality services are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and instruction to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Assist individuals with specific facilitative outcomes as described in their self-directed plan
- Implement a person-centered approach to services
- Follow universal precautions and proper infection control standards
- Document contacts with individuals and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of practical experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (preferred)
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
