Job Summary

Clinical Coordination Assistants play a vital role in the care of infertility patients at CCRM Fertility. As a member of our diverse team, you will work closely with IVF Nurse Coordinators to facilitate patient care and ensure seamless communication between medical staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately transcribe, enter, scan, and verify patient data into the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
  • Place daily lab orders as directed by the RN and obtain prior authorizations for medications as needed.
  • Communicate with patient pharmacies to ensure timely prescription fulfillment and refill requests.
  • Perform regular chart audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records.
  • Track and verify patient consent forms, alerting RNs to any deficiencies or missing information.
  • Monitor patient workup status and ensure communicable labs are up-to-date.
  • Assist with inventory management and documentation of consignment medication for the nurse team.
  • Participate in hormone meetings with the nursing team and assist with monitoring nurse team flags.
  • Answer triaged phone calls for the nursing team and document actions taken in the patient EMR.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Medical Assistant certificate required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • 2+ years of medical assistant experience preferred.
Working Conditions

This role operates in a professional office, clinical, and/or laboratory setting. The employee will interact with others and ensure compliance with medical regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies to maintain the highest standards of care and patient and staff safety.
