Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Operations Supervisor for Home Hospital operations.

This role will oversee the 360-degree clinical, logistic, and administrative aspects of Home Hospital operations, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient resource allocation.
The Clinical Operations Supervisor will have daily oversight of the Charge Nurse Team and be responsible for throughput, capacity management, and resource allocation to serve the Home Hospital patient population.
This is a unique role that partners with paramedic logistic teams and dispatchers to meet the demands across our geographic service areas.
The Clinical Operations Supervisor will translate the objectives, policies, and procedures of the Hospital into effective action, making decisions regarding patient care within the framework of established policies.
This role will have operational oversight over our full geographic region, encompassing 5 hospital systems.
About Home HospitalHome Hospital is an innovative, multifaceted program that requires a skilled Clinical Operations Supervisor to oversee its operations.
This role will focus on the following areas, allowing for full visibility into our growing and robust operations:
- Triage Role: Acts as the central contact person in coordinating high-level patient placement and patient access for the HH system.
- Operational Safety Events: Responds to operational safety events and assists with activated DEPC Operations Resource Role.
- Patient Care Management: Serves as a clinical resource in the management of patient care, performs support to clinical team for escalated issues, and provides clinical consultation to staff.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, current MA RN license, and 5+ years of nursing experience with progressive supervisory experience.
They will also have experience as a House Supervisor overseeing broad hospital operations or a similar operating model, proficiency with triage and managing multiple competing priorities, and demonstrated clinical competence in the area of nursing practice.
The Clinical Operations Supervisor will be responsible for facilitating admissions and discharges, serving as a key point person for team reporting and clinical operation troubleshooting, and anticipating/proactively responding to capacity demands.
They will also assist with staffing, filling open shifts to meet expected and surge demand, and oversee safety events, both systemic and local as needed.
The Clinical Operations Supervisor will have the authority to make decisions regarding patient care within the framework of established policies and will have operational oversight over our full geographic region, encompassing 5 hospital systems.
