Position Summary

The Operations Specialist is tasked with providing support, guidance, and oversight from a wellness perspective across communities to maintain operational standards until a suitable replacement is appointed. This role also involves conducting audits and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with established standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in healthcare or a related discipline.
  • Travel requirement of 70%.
  • Experience in Senior Living or Independent Living environments.
  • A minimum of three years of management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office within a Windows environment, with the ability to learn company-specific software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the community Wellness Director or Administrator during vacancies, including:
    • Conducting resident assessments and developing service plans.
    • Overseeing resident care to ensure quality standards are upheld.
    • Reviewing and processing physician orders in conjunction with pharmacy support.
    • Ensuring resident ADL schedules are created and followed during staffing gaps.
    • Collaborating with Human Resources to address employee performance issues.
    • Facilitating the training and development of care team members.
  • Coordinate with the home office team to ensure seamless transitions for community team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication.
  • Conduct monthly audits to ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
  • Support wellness leaders with ongoing training initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
