About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Officer to join our team at City National Bank. As a Client Officer, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Client Manager in supervising and participating in operations, client service, and internal sales activities of the branch.
  • Monitor and maintain operations procedures for compliance to regulations; plan and administer colleague schedules and internal workflow.
  • Support internal sales activities, including providing product and cross-sell opportunity identification training to staff, recognizing referral/sales opportunities, and making appropriate product/service recommendations to clients.
  • Function as part of a cohesive unit to service client transactions and uphold the operational integrity of the branch.
  • Develop, motivate, and coach banking office sales/service colleagues.
  • Partner with the Client Manager in completing, monitoring, and auditing branch certifications and operational reviews.
  • Utilize an organized approach to manage and prioritize daily activities to meet all deadlines.
  • Act as a champion for clients and colleagues, providing exemplary service and promoting solutions to meet client needs.
  • Promote and facilitate cross-selling of bank services to existing and potential clients to meet established branch sales and referral goals.
  • Work with business partners to deliver solutions and maintain and grow client relationships.
  • Recognize and recommend cross-selling opportunities to maximize banking office profitability.
  • Support and partner with the Client Manager to proactively develop colleagues to achieve results and accurately assess strengths.
  • Provide feedback, mentoring, and opportunities for development to help colleagues achieve their full potential.
  • Provide instructions and information to colleagues on regulatory procedures, bank policies, legal requirements, and other banking standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a banking environment required.
  • Minimum 2 years of basic computer experience (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

City National Bank offers a competitive salary range of $22.27 - $33.43 per hour, with opportunities for bonus and/or commissions. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic work environment.
