Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing operations organization of high integrity and leadership by establishing an effective organizational matrix, personnel structure, and toolset for successful, timely, and budget-conscious vehicle delivery.

  • Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring teams achieve milestones and operate within budgetary constraints, P&L responsibility for Operations.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Uphold confidentiality and discretion with business and personal information.
  • Safety and Compliance: Establish and implement safety programs in line with company values and policies.
  • Employee Engagement: Establish a work environment conducive to maintaining good employee morale.
  • Performance Management: Conduct annual performance evaluations and ensure that all managers do the same for their employees.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide Senior Leadership with status updates and urgent issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years' experience in the Automotive Industry, with strong experience in operations for a manufacturing-based company.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated success in leading and scaling teams across disciplines such as Purchasing, Supply Chain, I.T., and Manufacturing.
  • Business Acumen: Resilient, self-driven, and able to build and lead resilient teams to achieve company objectives.
  • Budget Management: Demonstrated high level of budget management skills.
  • Commercial Knowledge: Strong business acumen with understanding of fundamental business principles.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of commercial vehicles a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment.
  • Technology and Systems: Familiarity with ERP Systems (PLEX Preferred).
  • Travel and Flexibility: Ability to travel 20% or more.
  • Software and Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet).
  • Communication and Presentation: Professional presentation abilities.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule availability as needed.
