Job Summary

The Receiving Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely confirmation and accuracy of inbound inventories, placing products in their correct locations, preparing job orders for shipments, and making book adjustment transactions to maintain accurate inventory management records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure incoming products are receipted and managed according to company processes and procedures.
  • Place products in the correct bin location.
  • Provide proper documentation to relevant personnel.
  • Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect-free and aligned with technical specifications.
  • Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of output.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Operate forklift machinery to assist with loading and unloading incoming materials.
  • Generate and monitor inventory reports and unissued materials reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in inventory control or manufacturing required.
  • Computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and push/pull 150 pounds, anything over 75lbs, team lift must be applied. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Monday-Friday

7:00am-4:00pm
