Responsibilities

As a Permanent Inventory Specialist, your duties will include:

1. Managing and maintaining our inventory system, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
2. Utilizing ERP systems to track inventory levels, orders, sales, and deliveries.
3. Conducting regular physical inventory audits and reconciling any discrepancies.
4. Identifying trends in inventory movement and providing recommendations for inventory optimization.
5. Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
6. Generating and analyzing inventory reports, providing insights to management on inventory turnover, shortages, and surplus.
7. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to inventory management.
8. Troubleshooting inventory issues and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
9. Coordinating with other departments to understand their inventory needs and ensure they are met.
10. Participating in the planning and execution of special projects as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Inventory Specialist position should have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management.
2. Proficiency in using ERP systems for inventory management.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and
accuracy.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
8. A working knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines related to inventory management.
