**Description**

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

* Analyzes and verifies inventory audit counts for established cycle count parameters and unscheduled request using computerized and manual inventory files.

* Assist in compliance with lot # transfer, lot and production date tracking and enforcement of FIFO principles

* Maintain inventory control proper stock rotation by recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via RF handheld device.

* Identifies causes of error and works with Supervisor and Material Controls Manager to identify corrective action through RCA process.

* Analyzes and performs accurate resolution to inventory variances using related various system records

* Maintains documentation for scheduled audits for reporting and review by management, as well as internal and external auditors.

* Communicates clearly and tactfully with all peers and management.

* Interfaces with all personnel involved in updating and maintenance of inventory files.

* Assists in physical inventories and special projects as required.

* Occasional operation of pallet jack, fork lift and/or clamp truck required.

* Able to climb up on trailers and lift up to 30lbs

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong problem solving skills.

* Ability to operate personal computer.

* Ability to process Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. Can generate spreadsheets in Excel

* Knowledge of inventory control processes.

* Req Understand systems and processes of all internal operations & the dynamics of all material movement within the facility

* Accurately identify product and packaging dynamics

* Identify conditions within the facility that are contributing to inventory inaccuracies

* Identify mistakes/inconsistencies that may affect the overall accuracy of the inventory and report findings to supervisors

* Working knowledge of JD Edwards and Transcollector inventory systems

**KPI GOALS**

* Perform cycle counts as required.

* Identifies and verifies that IAs were performed as necessary

* Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary.

**Cycle Counter Job Requirements**

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Production Experience: Minimum of 6 months
