Vomela Specialty Company is seeking a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate receipt and placement of inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and manage incoming product according to company procedures.
- Ensure product is stored in the correct bin location.
- Provide documentation to relevant personnel.
- Support quality improvement processes to ensure defect-free deliverables.
- Follow standard operational procedures and policies.
- Perform cycle counts and operate forklift machinery as needed.
- Generate and monitor inventory reports.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in inventory control or manufacturing required.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Work Environment:
The physical demands of this position include regular talking and hearing, frequent use of hands and fingers, and occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds. The work environment is typically low to moderate noise level.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm, 40 hours per week.
