Position Overview:

The KDB/ KDB+ Consultant role is pivotal in the development and execution of new or enhanced application systems and programs, collaborating closely with the Technology team. The primary aim of this position is to contribute to systems analysis and programming initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in feasibility studies, estimating time and costs, IT planning, risk assessment, application development, and model creation, while establishing and implementing new or revised application systems to fulfill specific business requirements.
  • Oversee and manage all stages of the development lifecycle, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation, while providing operational support to business users.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge in application development to analyze complex issues, evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Propose and implement security measures during post-implementation analysis to ensure effective system design and functionality.
  • Consult with users and other technology teams on various issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and assist in the installation of customer-facing systems.
  • Ensure adherence to essential procedures and contribute to defining operational standards and processes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment and autonomy.
  • Assess risks associated with business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding its assets, clients, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
