Position Overview:

The KDB/KDB+ Consultant role involves engaging in the development and execution of new or modified application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. The primary goal of this position is to contribute to the analysis and programming activities of application systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, estimate time and costs, plan IT strategies, assess risks, and develop applications and models to fulfill specific business requirements.
  • Oversee all stages of the development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation, while providing user and operational support to business users.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge in applications development to analyze complex issues, evaluate business processes, system functionalities, and industry standards, and make informed judgments.
  • Recommend and implement security measures during post-implementation reviews to ensure optimal system design and performance.
  • Collaborate with users, clients, and other technology teams to address issues, propose advanced programming solutions, and assist in the installation of customer-facing systems.
  • Ensure adherence to essential procedures and help define operational standards and processes.
  • Operate with a degree of autonomy and make independent judgments.
  • Assess risks associated with business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
