Job Title: Senior Finance Manager - Cloud Economics

At Microsoft Corporation, we're looking for a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our Cloud Economics team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success of our cloud business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead financial models to evaluate complex cloud transactions and determine negotiation strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop cloud business cases and financial models for strategic customers.
  • Engage with internal and external executives to articulate the outcomes of financial analyses and provide clarity on cloud partnership terms and financial outcomes.
  • Lead customer discussions and find creative ways to maximize the probability of winning deals with ROI and controlled risks.
  • Develop frameworks to accelerate, simplify, and scale Azure's deal-making process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field, and 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience.
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field, and 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Passionate about the technology industry and ability to engage in technical discussions.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, enabling simple communication of complex topics.
  • Analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Modeling capabilities and ability to work with financial systems.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves at a fast pace.
What We Offer:

At Microsoft, we offer a competitive salary range of $94,600 - $183,800 per year, with a different range applicable to specific work locations. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
