Job Title: Senior Business Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Manager to join our team at Microsoft Corporation. As a key member of our Cloud + AI business, you will play a critical role in driving business operations and strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Execute business plans to ensure continuity of business operations, including in adverse conditions, in accordance with corporate governance.
  • Drive business direction and lead the planning process, ensuring coordination with corporate planning processes and integration across the broader organization.
  • Develop and execute the rhythm of business (ROB), working with senior leaders to drive outcomes and provide direction for identifying and determining objectives.
  • Leverage knowledge of organizational strategy and planned deliverables to design budgets and work with Finance to approve them.
  • Develop forecasting plans in partnership with the leadership team and oversee the development of metrics for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Microsoft teams to oversee the creation and implementation of execution plans.
  • Drive accountability for the team and organization in executing core business activities and create clarity in ambiguous situations to facilitate decision making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) and 8+ years' experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles.
  • Experience in leadership positions, including the ability to work closely with leadership and promote collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Desire and ability to work as part of a diverse and inclusive team, with a keen business sense, ability to think creatively and strategically, and a bias for action.
  • Results orientation, analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced changing environment.

Compensation: The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
