In this role, you will collaborate within a team setting to manage existing client relationships and explore new client prospects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing investment portfolios across various accounts in a personalized and tax-efficient manner, while providing clients with informed guidance on financial planning matters.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Planning Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting a client-focused team with the following tasks:
  • Engage actively in client meetings, preparing materials, setting agendas, and following up post-meeting.
  • Implement and oversee investment and financial planning processes, including estate planning, tax strategies, and portfolio management.
  • Monitor and manage portfolio allocations, provide investment recommendations, and analyze unique investment vehicles.
  • Assist Wealth Management advisors in onboarding new clients.
  • Evaluate clients' current financial situations, establish short and long-term financial objectives, and develop actionable plans.
  • Utilize e-Money software and other tools to prepare and present financial plans.
  • Organize and maintain client files and essential custodian documents.
  • Act as a liaison between advisors and custodians, managing account openings and maintenance paperwork.
  • Proactively engage with clients to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Assist with the timely completion and submission of all client-related transaction requests.
  • Maintain the CRM system (Salesforce), including reporting and filing systems.
  • Promote the values, ethics, and unique approach of our firm in personal finance and financial planning.
  • Take on ad-hoc projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and initiative to meet the dynamic needs of the team and organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree required; current pursuit of CFP designation or obtaining within a year or any other financial designation strongly preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in investment advisory; client interaction experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Excel, PowerPoint, eMoney, and Salesforce preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills across various formats (meetings, reports, emails, phone calls).
  • Strong organizational skills in managing daily tasks, projects, and team collaboration.
  • High attention to detail in calculations and presentations.
  • Able to work under pressure with shifting deadlines and priorities.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and a team player with strong ethics and integrity.
  • Emotional Intelligence (E.Q.)
Additional Requirements:
  • Travel may be required for in-person training.
