Job Summary

WKYT-TV seeks a Multimedia Consultant to join our Sales team. We offer a culture, tools, and environment for unlimited success by providing great ideas and creative executions to local businesses. This role develops new revenue, focused on customer return on investment, and retains and grows accounts through insight proposals, proof of performance, and maximizing station assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a strategic business plan to meet and exceed revenue goals and targets.
  • Develop advertising solutions for new customers that deliver results.
  • Upsell customers by providing proof of performance and solid results.
  • Work target accounts in the pipeline and replenish as needed.
  • Source extra accounts and replenish as needed.
  • Conduct needs analysis and account reviews to uncover customer needs.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and value to customers.
  • Explain the benefits of Digital and its integration with TV.
  • Negotiate with customers to meet a winning return on investment.
  • Collaborate with the Media Manager to provide timely and accurate traffic instructions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years related experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Team player with strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
