About the Role:

Taylor Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the second shift production teams, including Kitting, Wide Format, and Print on Demand. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of production teams to meet daily print requirements and project deadlines.
  • Conduct nightly updates on production progress and report any issues or delays to the Production Manager and CSR.
  • Ensure all print devices are calibrated to meet G7 color management standards at the beginning of each shift.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Attend afternoon production meetings to discuss ongoing projects and address any concerns.
  • Review upcoming projects and proactively communicate with team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Verify that all large digital orders have received first-sheet sign-off before commencing production.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, interpret, and decipher written instructions from documents such as work orders, safety regulations, and operating procedures.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage and motivate production teams.
  • Basic mathematical skills to perform calculations and measurements.
  • Prior leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Digital print experience and understanding of color substrate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
