About the Role:

Taylor Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the second shift production teams, including Kitting, Wide Format, and Print on Demand. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all daily print requirements and projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the second shift production teams to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to meet G7 color management standards.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Collaborate with the production manager and other teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for production team members.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Identify and report any issues or delays to the production manager and CSR responsible for the account.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, or other job-specific written documents.
  • Ability to speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
