Controls Engineer - Onsite

The Davis Companies is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join their team in Hudson, NH. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Analyze customer needs and develop technical solutions to minimize costs while maintaining reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and continuous improvement.
  • Provide industry-specific application knowledge and direction to ensure effective project execution.
  • Develop project requirements and design specifications to meet customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree and 4 years of experience in robotics, controls, or engineering; OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 2 years of experience in robotics, controls, or engineering.
  • 1 year of experience in automated controls systems and robot applications.
  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Competence in industrial machinery controls design and PLC/HMI programming experience with Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and Siemens.
  • Experience with fieldbus architectures such as DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Profibus.
  • Functional experience programming VFD's and Servo controllers.
